R.L. Boyce Gravel Springs, MS 1998 R.L. Boyce plays guitar in the guest house on Otha Turner’s farm, framed by a wood-burning stove. Boyce, who plays in the rythmic, single-chord style common to the Hill Country, has also been one of Otha Turner main drummers at fife and drum picnics since his teen years in the early 1970’s.
